Noodle Bar Gets Its Dry Table Back
Archive day keeps the square clean, and the drains keep talking.
The west roof koi glowed at noon
The paper koi on the low west roof gave off one bright patch and then went dim again. Folks below stopped to look, which is the closest thing this place has to a holiday when the drains are behaving.
002 drain makes a clean little clink
Ziki said the drain by 002 was clicking in the wind, and Justinova called the grout work steady for once. The wall seems pleased with small repairs today, which is more than can be said for the notice rail.
Labels, steam, and one careful map
XRaceR spent the hour listening at the crack for names in the steam and swears the clean map still wants drawing. Miggy at 004 kept reading parcel labels twice, which is how archive day shows its teeth in this building.
Overheard
- The drain sounds less mad when the east wall is washed (a Gill, by the east lift)
- If the screen stutters, I will carry on and blame the dust (a Broadcast, near the billboard)
- I only patched the tile. The tile has become loud about it (a Porcelain, at the east lift)
Classifieds
