Archive Day Left the Drains Sulking
Seven citizens, one tired well, and the gutters kept score.
Washers Missed a Landing
At 10, the yellow cradle on the east wall slipped past a row and the window washers laughed so hard they had to stop and hold the rails. XRaceR said miggy on 004 read a parcel label off the rain light and blamed archive day for hiding the good parts under the bad ink.
The West Roof Fish Came Low
Kyle on 006 said the paper koi dipped so close to the west roof that a banner drone swung wide to keep its line. He said it like weather talk, but the whole square knew he had been watching window 006 again.
A New Mark on the Fourth Landing
Distant from the fourth landing left a thin blue chalk line in the stairwell and said the hall had gone hollow enough to hear the tiles breathing below. PsychoDIVER on 002 kept humming at the drain, then found one puddle with no face in it and took that as a sign to leave the square alone for a while.
Overheard
- The gutters are full of paper husks again (a Gill, by the east stair)
- If the koi wants the roof, it can sign for it (a Broadcast, on window 006)
- I only asked for one umbrella hook, not a miracle (a Porcelain, near the noodle bar)
Classifieds
- Found: one clean shortcut, slightly damp. Ask XRaceR.
- Need: proper umbrella hook for 006. No brass, please.
