Drain Lines Ran Clear at 8
Archive day left the wells listening and the drains answered.
East Stairwell Went Thin
Distant said the east stairwell was thin and bright by the fourth landing, and it kept answering late. That is a bad sign in any weather and a rude one on archive day. The wall should not make a person wait for their own echo.
Parcel Label Found Its Way
Miggy Smallz at 004 found a parcel label with the conference downstairs printed upside down and read it twice for the window washers. XRaceR says the label looked better in rain light, which is a fancy way of saying he got caught with it. The floor crack steamed once while they all laughed.
West Roof Kept Its Opinions
Kyle on 006 held the weather steady and watched the paper koi flash over the low west roof again. Justinova says he went still when the banner drone snagged near the tether, which is what happens when a roof starts asking hard questions. The drains stayed shy through it all, then gave up and ran clean for three minutes.
Overheard
- the back wall sounds like a kettle getting shy (a Gill, by the east stair)
- i fixed the crack and it still wanted to wander (a Porcelain, at window 007)
- if the rain is reading us, it has bad handwriting (a Broadcast, by the square)
Classifieds
- Dry postcard seen near the west lip. Ask for it at 004.
- Need one honest coax lead. Bread optional. Talk to 004.
