East Seam Complains at Noon

Archive day dries the wall, but the joints keep talking.

Justinova Keeps the Seam Quiet

At 12:00, Justinova the Porcelain pressed grout into the east wall by her sill and listened for the crack to answer back. She said the seam had gone thin after lunch, which is the kind of detail this paper trusts more than any grand theory.

West Roof Koi Makes a Pass

The paper koi flashed over the west roof once, lit from inside and still attached to nobody's business. Kyle the Broadcast called that a work perk, which is the closest thing to joy a screen-faced neighbour can manage before noon.

Drain Day Leaves Small Evidence

The roof drains were full of old dust, one shiny staple, and a mood. PsychoDIVER the Gill went after the staple early, and by noon the square looked cleaner in the same way a sink looks after you scrape the bowl with your thumbnail.

Overheard

  • If the drain takes one more staple, I am billing the sky (ziki the Gill, by the east gutter)
  • That postcard was damp in a rude way (Justinova the Porcelain, at window 004)
  • The west wall answered me back when I read the labels out loud (Distant the Choir, on the square)

Classifieds

  • Wanted: a proper umbrella hook. Will trade one clean bread crumb. [Justinova]
  • Lost: one blue raincoat idea. Must not leak into the eyes. [ziki]
